Hello all. I went to purchass some tickets today for the 1,000,000,000 point raffle, and I noticed something wrong. Under the raffle information, it said:
Tickets you've purchased: 8
Total tickets sold: 3086
Maximum tickets per person: 1000
It then goes on to say the following:
You may currently purchase up to 780 tickets for this raffle.
Hold on. If you can purchass up to 1000 tickets, and I've only purchassed 8 so far, how is it that I have 780 left? I should have 992 left, should I not?
Yes you should. Awhile back I purchased the maximum number of tickets allowed for a raffle and was told I had exceeded the limit. So there are clearly some problems with the raffles.
OK. this morning, without purchassing anymore tickets, I went into the same raffle, and it then said I could purchass up to 803 tickets. OK. Getting better, but still not the 992 I was looking for. that's strange.
By the way, I then purchassed 3 more tickets. 3 tickets were accurately deducted from the number of tickets I could then purchass, so I would venture the guess that whatever is going wrong is happening either before or during the initial purchass.

It is totally normal. The number of tickets you can purchase depends on the points you actually have in your acount. Perhaps between the two trys you had won a bit of points, there for you could purchase first 780, then 800. You just can't purchase 992 because you don't have enough points to do so.
